February 11, 2012 | Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Join Arrowmen around Section NE-1A for the 2012 Section NE-1A Quality Lodge Summit. Arrowmen will come together for this one day training event where lodge leaders, chapter officers, and members can learn how to be successful in 2012 and learn some new best practices. March 23-25, 2012 | Alpine, New Jersey and April 20-22, 2012 | Dundee, New York
In March and April, the Northeast Region will host two National Leadership Seminars for Arrowmen throughout the region. The NLS is a weekend training event where Arrowmen learn about the role and styles of leadership. Both youth and adults may attend the NLS course. Youth are encouraged to be at least 15 years old or a lodge officer. To learn how to register and for more information, visit the Northeast Region website here.
April 28, 2012 | Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Section NE-1A will host its final planning session for the 2012 Section NE-1A Conclave at the Council of Chiefs meeting in Portsmouth, NH. The Council of Chiefs is the youth led body comprised of the section officers and the lodge chiefs. The COC is responsible for planning the 2012 Section Conclave. June 8-10, 2012 | Bolton, Massachusetts
Join in the fun at the 2012 Section NE-1A Conclave. Hosted by Chippanyonk Lodge of the Know Trail Council, the six lodges of Section NE-1A will gather for this annual event at Camp Resolute in Bolton, MA. About 250 to 300 Arrowmen are expected to attend and your lodge is sending a contingent. Registration will open after the 2012 QLS and a conclave website will launch around February 1, 2012. Stay tuned to the section website for conclave updates.
June 17-23, 2012 | Cimarron, New Mexico
Advisers will gather this summer at the Philmont Training Center for the 2012 Philmont OA Adviser Conference. The conference will be tailored to meet the needs of the conference attendees and will include topics selected by the advisers who attend. The staff for the conference are members of the national Order of the Arrow committee and Arrowmen who have served as lodge advisers. This weeklong conference is open to all chapter, committee, lodge, and section advisers. For more information, visit the conference page here.
June 28 - July 3, 2012 and August 13-18, 2012 | Northern Maine
Head north to the Maine High Adventure Base and join the OA Service Trek with your fellow Arrowmen. In 2012, the Maine High Adventure Base will host two weeklong treks that include fishing, star gazing, hiking, canoeing, and cheerful service. Each trek will be tailored to meet the crew's interest. July 30 - August 4, 2012 | East Lansing, Michigan
8,000 Arrowmen will arrive at Michigan State University on July 30, 2012 for the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference. This six day conference will include training, programs, shows, and outdoor high adventure activities. Lodges are traveling to NOAC 2012 as a contingent and you will not want to miss out.
