Leadership, Section NE-1A

Section NE-1A operates under the direction of three youth officers: a Section Chief, Vice-Chief and Secretary. They are elected each year at the conclave, and serve until officers are elected at the completion of next year's conclave.
The Section officers are guided by a team of experienced adults: a Section Adviser, one or more Associate Advisers, and a professional Staff Adviser, each who helps guide the youth officer in fulfilling his duties. The key leadership of the Section meets three times a year to administer the Section through Key-8 meetings.

In addition the leadership of the elected Section officers and advisers, the Immediate Past Section Chief, the Key-3 (Lodge Chief, Adviser and Staff Adviser) of each Lodge comprise a Council of Chiefs (COC), the governing body of the Section. The COC meets three times a year, once in November, February and April, to plan the Section Conclave, conduct training and guide the Section.
